The Women’s National Team take the pitch at the Women’s Rugby World Cup in Ireland in less than five months, and they’re depending on you to help them perform at their very best.

The Women’s Rugby World Cup is an incredible opportunity for the Eagles to represent you, USA Rugby fans and supporters, on the global stage. But these athletes cannot perform at the top of their game without your support. In an effort to maximize our Eagles’ potential, USA Rugby has committed to providing an extra, unprecedented month of residential training for the World Cup squad. To do this, we need to work together to raise an additional $100,000 to cover the costs of training, equipment, stipends, room and board for athletes and staff and more.

The rugby community has already started to come together to reach this goal, including generous benefactors Julie and Chris Prentice and the team at Atavus. When Julie and Chris heard about the opportunity for added training for our World Cup athletes, they stepped up in a big way, offering a $40,000 matching gift for the Eagles’ journey to Ireland. Your gift to the Women’s National Team today now has double the impact! For each dollar raised for the Women’s Eagles, Chris and Julie will match it, ultimately raising $80,000 and reaching 80% of our total goal!
