Peterson re-signs at Glasgow Warriors

USA Men’s Eagle Greg Peterson has signed a new two-year contract with Glasgow Warriors.

It means the 6-foot-8 second row will be staying in Glasgow until at least May 2019.

Australia-born Peterson arrived from English Premiership side Leicester Tigers in the summer of 2015 and has also had a spell in Australia at Super Rugby side NSW Waratahs.

He has played 11 times for the USA since making his debut for his country in 2014.

Speaking to glasgowwarriors.org, Greg Peterson said: “I’ve enjoyed my 18 months in Glasgow. The club, the supporters and the community have been great to me and I’m really happy to be staying.”
